Child’s Play

Are you surprised
That some doors
Should remain closed?
Some journeys never taken?
Had no one told you
Of the whirling winds,
The tumultuous waters,
The blazing fires,
That lay behind a certain seal?
Did you believe yourself strong
Enough to bond with what lay inside,
To hold fast to the motion?
Did you imagine such zest
To be accessible one moment
And extinguished in the next?
Rather be astonished at the Force
That held it well for so long,
Be in awe of the Power wielded
To bar the entrance
These many years.

Have A Happy Healthy Day!

DO YOU USE ESSENTIAL OILS MEDICINALLY?

Responsible use of essential oils includes:

1. An awareness of their medicinal properties and value.

2. A great deal of research and education.

3. The willingness to track and report all use to your primary care physician.

4. The willingness to schedule a visit with your primary care doctor when your use of oils is not reducing your symptoms in a timely manner.

This post is in the interest of your good health!

Learn how to use essential oils appropriately for common ailments. It’s the natural choice.

I have researched several labels. This is a list of quality brand essential oils- in order from most expensive down to least costly- all effective for common ailments, but more oil is needed of the three less expensive brands to accomplish the same results achieved with lesser amounts of Young Living oils.

I do not sell YL as I practice a healing profession and consider there to be the possibility of a conflict of interest, but honestly the longer I study and use the oils, the greater is my preference for the YL oils. (My second preference is NOW.)

1. Young Living Oils
2. Native American Nutritionals
3. Healing Solutions Oils
4. NOW Food Oils

Anarchy

Between sleep and awake
Lies a powerful land,
Filled with mystical creatures
And strangely dealt hands,
Differing worlds
Seem at will to entwine,
Authoring storms
Whirling through mind,
Slight sense of space,
Tin sense of time,
Various fates
Both wind and unwind,
Twisted together,
Recklessly ripped,
Muddled and mixed-
All circuitry tripped.

Ever An Illusion

Can the will of the wave
Cast aside the sea?
Can the wind refuse the howl,
The forest quit the tree?
Can the moon abate the shine,
The cave the rock set free?
Of the shelter of the sky,
The brilliant sun take leave?

Treasures of the earth hidden
Deep in dirt remain,
The moth will ever flutter near
The bright and open flame,
The bird abandons not his song,
The bee will not the flower flee,
As the stars belong with night,
So I belong with Thee.

Where Were You

In between the poles we’d fly
Twisted heart and evil eye
Round and round the mind we flew
Seldom sure who’d be our view
Upside down then right side up
May stay awhile with any luck
Change in the weather
Take us down together
Ties too tight to ever sever
We’ll be here till the twelfth of never…

Perilous Conditions

In the shadow

Of your manic mood

I developed a magic mind:

Superpowers have become mine,

I can see when I am blind,

I can’t sleep but I can fly.

I don’t bend in the pouring rain,

Don’t always know when I feel pain,

Though daybreak is not always plain,

Break free the chain.

I catch it in midair,

No need to try.

Splankna

Thirty-three
She stared at me
I once was blind
But now I see

Frozen in place
Stunned look on my face
Hands grip the wheel
Unsure of this space

Time stands still
If I don’t blink my eyes
A need to grieve
Takes me by surprise
